ORLANDO/KISSIMMEE ATTORNEY FEATURED ON A&E TRUE CRIME SERIES IN CASE OF VETERAN CLEARED OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM CHARGES
On November 2, 2023, A&E aired a new episode of “Accused: Guilty or Innocent” featuring Florida Defense Team’s own board certified criminal trial attorney Lisa Figueroa and her representation of a man charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and shooting a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle, as well as other related charges for a situation to which he was trying to save his family from a road raging driver. Despite not getting a full acquittal at a jury trial, Ms. Figueroa was able to assure her client avoided the lengthy prison time he was facing and her office continues to support and assist in appealing the ultimate outcome. However, despite facing 20+ years in prison, her client is home with his family against all odds in a tough case involving firearms.
